Looking into the World of Online Videos for Marketing & Recruiting…and other stuff.
This 2 minute 49 second video looks like he did it himself, but it is very good (content wise). The sound is pretty unprofessional and the lighting and some of the editing could have been better, but again – the content is excellent. You meet Angel Rivera…and learn how and what he does. It is great that you get to see some of what he does (it looks like it feels great!). You also find out where you can see you – at a chiropractic office or he can come to your home with his massage table.
Amazing Green is a carpet cleaning service in St. Paul. Their website has one testimonial video (http://www.tryamazinggreen.com/customer-feedback.html) and the below is the video as well.
This 3 minute and 12 second video is amazingly poor quality – very pixelly and the sound is off. This really looks bad as they are Technology Solutions…you couldn’t find someone to use the right online video technology and optimize for YouTube?
Richard Serpe specializes in toxins torts. When the Chinese Drywall became an issue, he had this video produced. It starts with the first primary question he needs and the answer – ‘what year was your home built’ and the effected years. He explains what the problem is and the effects it is having. Then he mentions his 5 step guide to determine if home owners may have a problem. This is a video filled with content for people who want to learn about this issue.
This is a 2 minute and 15 second video. It felt long to me…it was somewhat repetitive. This video lets you meet the CEO of this roofing and gutter company, but it doesn’t let me learn much about him or the company. The video was about what they do and how much they respect you (the customer). This video might have been stronger if he said why or how he started the company…what they do specifically that sets them apart.
A blog written by a Minnesota Recruiter and Video Producer about marketing, social media, online video production, recruiting, and some about what I'm doing in life. Professionally, I am very interested in online videos for businesses marketing their products & services, and videos for recruiting for their open positions.
