Looking into the World of Online Videos for Marketing & Recruiting…and other stuff.
This is a quick, 1 minute 13 second video about a mexican restaurant. It starts off very good…with a question – if you are looking for a unique and festive experience…. This speaks right to those looking for a unique and festive mexican restaurant. She soon speaks of one of their specialties…which is served in a lava rock bowl (how cool is that). So you soon look what makes them different and unique.
This is a 1 minute and 12 second video demonstrating the HTC Magic phone (aka MyTouch3g). This video is simply demonstrating the cool features of the phone with some text (giving benefits) to cool music. Since the video was published on April 29, 2009…the video has been viewed almost 150,000 times and the video received 69 “5-star” ratings.
This is a seven minute video…a long in my opinion. After 3 minutes I was bored and it started sounding like I had heard it before already. The video would have more success and be more effective if it was shorter and more focused.
This is the latest video by Peek Productions. It is 2 minutes and 30 seconds long. The first two minutes is the testimonial by a satisfied client of theirs. I interviewed her to get the story and then edited it together as you see below. I am very pleased on how it turned out. What do you think of it?
This is a 4 minute and 21 second video…although longer than I usually like – but when covering 5 tips, it is acceptable. With proper lighting, external microphone, and some titling & text (and perhaps background music this video could have looked and sounded much better than it does. However, content-wise it is a winner.
A blog written by a Minnesota Recruiter and Video Producer about marketing, social media, online video production, recruiting, and some about what I'm doing in life. Professionally, I am very interested in online videos for businesses marketing their products & services, and videos for recruiting for their open positions.
