Looking into the World of Online Videos for Marketing & Recruiting…and other stuff.
My last post was about Don Moore’s testimonial video, but it is worth seeing his marketing video as well. This one and half minute video lets you meet him…get a feel for his personality.
He said he can’t guarantee it, but he says a typical client gets 3 to 5 times their investment…not a bad ROI. This is an important aspect to cover…as many business owners focus on ROI. For those kinds of potential customers…this is highly appealing…speaking to them in terms they understand and want to hear.
In this video he says the first call is “on him”…it is free. He also puts his tag-line in there. There really was not need to say “I approve of this message”…he is in it. They are his words…why wouldn’t he approve? Also, like the prior testimonial video…there is no call to action – and this is the place to put the offer of a free consultation. Furthermore, there is no contact information within the video. I am ready to call you for my free consultation…but wait, there is no phone number anywhere to be seen. He talks about calling him…and then there is no phone number to be found…this is a serious discrepancy. This discontinuity could cost him people who are willing to call him…but won’t bother searching for the phone number. Remember to always make it easy for potential customers.
