ioSafe Hard Drive Product Sales/Demo Video

In: Marketing Videos Critique

This is a 1 minute and 51 second video that is a product sales video with a bit of product demonstration in it. It is using avoiding pain and fear to sell this product by first showing stock footage of a fire and flood…and the talking about protecting our data and memories. You hear about how this external hard drive is constructed and you see some footage of it being submerged and put through fire (probably from the ioSafe’s own tests and demonstration video).

I found this on YouTube, but I suspect it is a part of a catalog online…or a buyer’s picks section with several products. This is a short video designed to put across the main benefits and features quickly…to help make the sale. I have never heard of this hard drive before, but I think it is pretty cool. I may buy one at a latter date, but know that I know so much about it (from the video) I would recommend it if I heard someone say they are concerned about such damage to their hard drive in an accident. The video made me an advocate of the product…so I would say it is successful. How about you?
