Bosu Squat with Rotation from koficore.com

This is a 49 second video showing a bosu squat with rotation. This fitness studio has several exercises demonstrated on video on their website; and this is one of them. For people looking for exercise, this giving away of content (exercises in this case) gets people to like koficore.com. Also, it establishes them as experts. The technical aspects of the video (lighting, sound, etc.) could have been better, but they did this video themselves.

There is no call to action. Having one could have improved the video for getting new customers. Granted, this video is used as part of a monthly exercises series. But offers and calls to action could have been made. The description mentioned contacting them for a free guest pass…why not put this bit of info at the end of the video?

Even a simple video like this adds to one’s website and internet presence.

Business Coach’s Marketing video

My last post was about Don Moore’s testimonial video, but it is worth seeing his marketing video as well. This one and half minute video lets you meet him…get a feel for his personality.

He said he can’t guarantee it, but he says a typical client gets 3 to 5 times their investment…not a bad ROI. This is an important aspect to cover…as many business owners focus on ROI. For those kinds of potential customers…this is highly appealing…speaking to them in terms they understand and want to hear.

In this video he says the first call is “on him”…it is free. He also puts his tag-line in there. There really was not need to say “I approve of this message”…he is in it. They are his words…why wouldn’t he approve? Also, like the prior testimonial video…there is no call to action – and this is the place to put the offer of a free consultation. Furthermore, there is no contact information within the video. I am ready to call you for my free consultation…but wait, there is no phone number anywhere to be seen. He talks about calling him…and then there is no phone number to be found…this is a serious discrepancy. This discontinuity could cost him people who are willing to call him…but won’t bother searching for the phone number. Remember to always make it easy for potential customers.

Business Coach Video Testimonial

This is a 3 minute video with the testimonials of 3 people. This is a very nicely done video…done professionally. You can tell by the great lighting, stable picture, and clear sound (lapel microphone). I would hope the location is Don Moore’s office (which I think it is).

You hear first hand how this business coach has helped these three people. This video covers information to overcome basic objections to someone buying coaching services from Don. They cover the concerns these three had and how they were unfounded concerns (from their experience). They recommend him. Very believable…they seem trustworthy.

This video is published in several places…and only one is probably used to his website (embedded code). And so if you are publishing on all these other sites…in the hopes people will find the video and watch it…you really do need to show your contact information. He puts his website address in the video description, but I think it would be wise to also include contact information in the video itself. Also, it is more effective to have a call to action…with an offer (something unique would be ideal). Give them a reason to call…something like “call now for a free, no-strings-attached ½ hour coaching session”…just an idea. But after seeing these people give such glowing reviews…why not ask for the sale/action and make an offer that isn’t a risk to the viewer. Many would call at that point.
