I am highly disturbed by this video…someone thought it was a good idea (what are they thinking?). If you are looking for a truck accident (injury) lawyer…because you were in an accident or know someone who was in an accident…would you really want to see an acted out scenario of an accident? Talk about not being sensitive to what has happened in your potential client’s lives. How about that cemetery scene!
Then shameless “happy scenes” of the injured child getting out of the hospital and giving her stuffed animal to the lawyer (because now they are so much like family). This truly is sickening. I will remember not to call them if I need a truck accident lawyer.
Am I being too harsh…or do you think this kind of marketing is a good thing? This commercial is in very poor taste in my opinion.
This is a 9 minute and 37 second video…I was asleep by 1 minute 23 seconds. This is a very bad video. Don’t use this as a model or try to do something like this. It is WAY to long…and moves too slowly. Think of online video as giving just the bullet points…the high points of the story…not a complete reading of some long novel that rambles and never gets to the point.
I expect very few people make it to the end of the video (I did because I had to reach the end to talk about it). I’ve seen surveys about video engagement that say at the 3 minute mark 50% of the viewers who started the video have stopped watching. Some of the content was good, but this video could have been 2 minutes long and been much more effective.
Some may believe having any testimonial is better than not having one at all. In this instance…not having one would be better. It did not make me have any more confidence in this lawyer…actually parading this sad story in such detail for his own gain makes me think worse of this lawyer. Not to mention the video was over exposed and had other technical issues. This video hurts this lawyer more than helps…in my opinion.
This is a 4 minute and 43 second video…a bit long, but the kind of content that people thinking about divorce will watch to the end. The top 5 tips are engaging and very informative. The sound is a little off on DailyMotion, but looks fine on YouTube. On YouTube, the video has been viewed over 107,000 times and have 77 ratings – giving the video a 4.5 star rating. What a great video for this attorney…I have sure all the views and the content he gave away has resulted in a lot of new business for him.
He did say, as a tip, to make an appointment with a divorce lawyer to learn about your rights. After seeing this video, getting to know him, and probably now seeing him as an expert, how many people do you think set up an appointment with hm? He did not have a call to action or offer at the end…that is good for this video. With the earlier tip of seeing a lawyer…no more is needed. A call to action and offer at the end of the video would turn this freely given content into something else…more commercial. The point of this video was to give tips…not sell his companies services. So the tip to see a lawyer is enough. Great video!
Technical aspects aside, this is a good video. Technically, the sound, editing, lighting, quality of video, etc. are not very good. This is obviously a self made video. But enough on that.
This video is focused on one audience – people who have gotten traffic tickets. It looks like a tip video or a video white paper of sorts, but in the end…not a lot of info was given other than call a lawyer. This is a marketing piece…not a tip video. But the title is great, “What You Should Do If You Get a Traffic Ticket.” This is done by the “Traffic Ticket Team”. They are specialists…and everyone likes going to specialists. “Our attorneys have handled over 1 million traffic tickets”…that is powerful.
He give a call to action and says call us now….but verbally says it. This is video, why isn’t there text there with the phone number. Later there is…but so much repetition of the phone number is annoying and not needed.
This video could have been so much better if they hired someone to film and edit the video….but this is exactly the kind of video that will get business (increase sales in a big way).
This 1 minute and 15 second video lets you meet the lawyer and a bit about his process and view. He has several videos on his website…each focusing on a slightly different aspect. Through this and his other videos, you do get a sense about who he is…you get to know him.
People buy from people they know, like, and trust…so this video is a success in building that relationship where a viewer is more likely to buy his services. I have covered a different video of his in the past, but thought it was time to mention another video of his.
