You get a great feel for the culture and the emphasis on career pathing & development. You hear about things that make them different – like the annual employee art show.

Whirlpool Recruitment Video
27 Jul 2009I found this on CollegeRecruiter.com as a the best recruiting video (posted 8/2008).
This short, 1 minute long video focuses on social responsibility. However, having Reba McEntire be the image and voice of the video made it seem very much like a commercial. It felt too much like I was being sold too…which instantly seems fake and not credible.

Cisco Recruiting Video
20 Apr 2009My only real complaint is that this video is too long – 6 minutes and 26 seconds. This is a good recruiting video.

The focus of this video is international opportunity in a social responsible company. This video is for recruiting “young people”. The newest generation to join the workforce tends to look for social responsibility in companies, so this is a good move by Citi for recruiting entry-level now.
